Burning Body Fat

Losing fat is a much harder process than just losing weight. It takes a lot more discipline. For one you need to start eating foods that are not only healthy but contain the correct nutrients that help in burning body fat. The correct diet plan is vital if you are wanting to lose fat. Look to lose around 1 to 2 pounds each week, any more and your losing valuable lean body mass which is vital at keeping your resting metabolism high. Muscle burns a lot of calories which means you can eat more and still not put on weight.

Once you have started eating a healthy and balanced diet, it’s time to start burning body fat through exercise. Not a lot of people know this but weight training is absolutely vital if you are wanting to maximize your body fat loss. This is because it increases the body’s hormones and elevates the metabolism for many hours after you have completed your workout. Meaning you are burning lots of calories throughout the day. It also helps you to build muscle, which is valuable in losing the fat which you have accumulated over the years.

As well as weight training you also need to start doing some cardio exercise. Some experts suggest that the best way to burn fat is by training for long periods of time at a light to moderate pace. But this way of training does not suit a lot of people. The mains being people just got not the time to workout for long periods of time. Also cardio exercise can get extremely boring which means you are more likely to quit due to the boredom.

Other experts say Interval training is the best way to do it, if you have a limited amount of time in your busy schedule will type of cardio exercise will probably be your best choice. By combining weight training with cardio training you stand a much better chance of losing weight and burning body fat.
