Easy Steps to Lose Weight

Losing weight seems to be a hard and sometimes an impossible task. You read books, buy programs, start counting calories, exercising for hours, eventually you give up because it’s too hard: you are hungry and irritated all day long and tired from strenuous exercising.

Weight lose doesn’t have to be so hard. Here are some tips to help you lose weight an easy way:

1. Don’t stay hungry. Instead of starving eat fiber-rich foods. They will fill you up so you won’t feel hunger. Try raw fruits and vegetables and whole grains. Each time you want to snack – snack on raw vegetables, fruits, nuts or seeds.

2. Drink lots of water. Water provides the following benefits:

– It helps to detoxify the body. It is very important to get enough water if you want to be healthy.

– It increases the metabolic rate so your body starts burning extra fat.

– Sufficient water intake helps get rid of water retention (edema). Water retention is a protective reaction of the body to insufficient water intake. Water is needed for almost every process that takes place in the body and if the water intake is not enough body starts to accumulate water so it can be used in the vital biochemical processes. Eliminating the water retention will help you get rid of extra pounds!

– It will fill you up so you will eat less.

Ideally you should drink 6-8 glasses of water daily: the more you weigh the more water you need to drink.

3. Walk more. Exercise in a gym once or twice per week and try to walk more for the rest of the week. Whenever possible, walk instead of driving. Walk 30 minutes a day. This can be a fun, socializing activity if you do it with a partner. This way you will be in a good form and will not exhaust yourself.
