Interval Training Workout for Fat Burning

Interval training is all about alternate speeds of exercises. The intensity of exercises categorized as Low, moderate and high. In interval training you will be swapped between these intensities time to time as per a schedule. There are three types of interval training basically according to interval variations.

1. Standard
2. Pyramid
3. Sports condition

standard interval variation
1. Three to five minutes warming up exercises start with something like Jogging in low intensity and ending up with gradually increased speed.
2. One minute moderate high intensity exercises and same amount of time with low intensity exercises repeat up to six to eight times
3. Three to five minutes warming down like light jog and decreasing the speed gradually at end up.

Pyramid interval variation
1. Three to Five minutes warming up as same as above.
2. 30 seconds high intensity exercises followed by one minute low intensity exercises
3. 45 seconds high and 1 minute low
4. 60 seconds high and 1 minute low
5. 90 seconds high and 1 minute low
6. 60 seconds high and 1 minute low
7. 45 seconds high and 1 minute low
8. 30 seconds high
9. Three to Five minutes warm down as same as above.

Sports condition variations
1. Three to Five minutes warming up as same as above.
2. Two minutes moderate high intensity exercises and Two minutes low intensity exercises. repeat once
3. 30 seconds high intensity and 30 seconds low intensity. repeat four times
4. 60-yard sprints or 10 seconds if not running, followed by 90 seconds rest. repeat 6 – 10 times
5. Three to Five minutes warm down as same as above.
