Are you paying yourself enough proper attention? It’s very easy to be traumatised by the trivia of daily life and for your welfare and well-being to be sidelined. You can’t afford to do this. It will only end in disaster. It will affect you mentally and physically, and there is absolutely no reason why it should happen to you. You may have choices to make, but here is the plan that will make your choices more obvious and help you to lose weight.

Action 1. Identify your areas of stress and neutralise them. Stress causes weight gain. If you work in a stressed environment or you have a stressful boss, this will do you no good at all. If you are stressed it is very likely to be the cause of the weight you have gained.

Action 2. Make time for exercise. Examine your daily routine. If you don’t audit your routine from time to time, it can work against you. Identify and get rid of all people who steal your time. Time thieves ruin your life. You have to have time to you. If you don’t make time to exercise, sometime in the future you’ll have to make time for illness. You need to have enough time to do one hour’s intentional walking every day.

Action 3. Watch what you eat. No fast foods. No ready meals. No Coke or soda. No alcohol. (a glass of red wine won’t do you any harm!) Keep your portions low. Buy a smaller plate and serve yourself smaller portions.

Action 4. Drink nine good glasses of water every day. This will stop your body retaining fluid and making you bloated.

Action 5. There are no medals or rewards for being the last one to leave the office in the evening. If you can’t get your work done in the time allotted, there is something wrong. You need to go home and make sure that you rest properly and ensure that you get at least 7 1/2 to 8 hours sleep every night.

Follow these actions and you will start to lose weight. Continue with these actions and your weight loss will be permanent.
